Fire Engulfs Seized Bikes at Mohania Police Station in Bihar
Mohania, Bihar – A sudden blaze erupted within the premises of Mohania police station in Kaimur district on Sunday evening, resulting in several seized motorcycles being consumed by the fire.
According to fire department officials, the incident occurred at the police station campus, where vehicles impounded in various cases are stored. The flames quickly spread, endangering the compound and its contents.
Fire officer Kundan Kumar confirmed that the fire department responded promptly to the emergency call and were successful in extinguishing the fire. “Our team managed to bring the situation under control,” Kumar stated to ANI.
While there were no immediate reports of injuries or fatalities, the incident has raised concerns about safety measures at police facilities. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the damage.
